SPEAKER’S PROFILE
Dr Tan Khian Seng [PhD Business Administration, PhD Theology & PhD Psychology] is a noted author and a renowned speaker both locally and internationally.
Dr Tan is a graduate of both the academic and the “school of hard-knocks”, building a business from scrap to a million-dollar operation. He completed his studies on ‘Building Successful Sales Organisation’ at Bachelors level and his research on ‘Leadership’ at the Masters level. He received a distinction for his research and dissertation on ‘Pioneer Marketing’ and was awarded a Doctorate in Philosophy in Business Administration from Kennedy-Western University.
Certified as a Human Behaviour Consultant, he shares proven tactics on ‘Running a Successful Sales Organisation’, ‘Effective Leadership’ and ‘Pioneer Marketing’.
Dr Tan started his career as a professional salesman (8 years) - selling financial services and general insurance. Next he sold Personal Development products. He became life insurance agent for 3½ years. He owned three companies and has been in business for the last 25 years. He has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, a business scholar and a strategist.
Dr Tan is an international speaker with more than two and a half decade of public speaking experience. He was a frequent and well-received speaker on radio and television. He was invited to speak on talk shows such as “Positive Business Minutes” and “Power of Dreams”. He speaks regularly at 107FM and 102.3FM. He was interviewed on American television for TBN broadcast.
He has widely travelled far and has spoken at conferences and seminars in the USA, Philippines, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia. Although he has spoken to very large audiences, he is very comfortable training small groups.
